About Harry J Palmer

Based in Wimborne Minster, Dorset, Harry J Palmer have been building high quality new homes in Dorset since its founder, Mr Harry J Palmer established the Company in 1938.

With a history of house building and construction that extends over 70 years the Company continues to enhance its reputation for high standards of construction, fittings and finish on all its new homes under the experienced eye of Harry's son, Colin Palmer and Grand Daughter May Palmer. 

The Company's philosophy is one of concentrating on building high quality, traditionally styled new homes on either single plots or small exclusive sites where they blend into and compliment the existing environment.

The design of each new home incorporates local characteristics, using materials such as stone, brick, flint and thatch which increase the appeal of the site and the surrounding area.

Whenever possible, existing trees are protected and new trees and shrubs planted for future generations.
